Blast off - Birthday Party

THEME

For my little guy’s 6th birthday there was never any question about the theme: Space and Rockets! He is obsessed with them. It is a fun theme for those little boys who love anything space related and the blue & red color scheme is simply out of this world.
I wanted to create something a bit different and with the help of some old jeans and some creativity work, I think that was accomplished in a really fun way. Get ready to blast off into space with this jeans-inspired Rockets  space-themed party

DESSERT TABLE

I choosed to do the party at a local Science Museum,  From there, I created a non so charming cake, cupcakes and cookies to match!  I love to home make my kids cake.  I also used cookie cutters to create the red colored shapes out of fondant also we served some moon rocks and some other sweets

FOOD AND DRINKS
To jazz up the water I just made some custom labels also for the food I decorate some gable boxes and put  some astronaut food  (which were just cheese sandwich and some space crackers), Of course we added the Astronaut Ice Cream and straws with printable flags. Please Don't forget the personalized NASA Inspired Astronaut Card

DETAILS AND DECOR

and just remember that LOVE conquers all

I mustache you a question... will you be my Valentine?

Mustaches are a hot trend!
Pair it with a pair of red hot lips and you’re bound to have fun!
This is what we did last week for our "valentines photo shoot... I just  love using old things and giving new things that old feel.
And everyone got into character (lots of pics ahead!):

He have lot of fun...

Also if you want to do a card with mustaches, use this freebie

 from http://itsybelle.blogspot.com

She designed the "I Mustache you to be my Valentine's" cards so that the faux 'staches would fit perfectly over the mustache design. So with or without the stickable mustaches the cards would be cute.

Also you can bake up some cupcakes  and stick a mustache on it to give a good laugh.  I used chocolate molds, but you can use fondant, melted chocolate piped onto wax paper and then cooled, or even construction paper!  Kids would have a ton of fun cutting out their own mustaches.  Then stick them on to serve!

Once upon a time, Valeria is 4!!

Once upon a time...

My baby girl turned 4 on August (can you believe I never have the time to post it until now??), and it only seemed fitting that for her birthday, a fairy tale should be the theme.
Also my daughter loves her grandma so I tought: Little Red and the riding hood would be the perfect way to celebrate her 4th birthday and she enjoyed every single second of her birthday

Prepare yourself for a zillion photos!

Here is Valeria's save the date video to hold you over–isn’t this so fun?? Here is the link:

For this party I wanted a modern take on this classic fairytale! Valeria LOVE the story and I think it makes  a great party theme with  a pop corn bar, cupcakes, cookies and of course a lot of mini apple pies...
